![]() It should be a huge red flag when people are actively picking up a controller to play PC games.Hackers in Apex Legends have apparently found a way to bypass the game’s anti-cheating software with less blatant cheats, players have reported on Reddit. ![]() I know why they've done this, but for the sake of balance, it should be reverted. The main point here is: the assist threshold is too high, it doesn't affect just a few PC players, it affects the vast majority. There is a solution I will mention in my own thread. I understand it works in the reverse direction (using XIM converters and whatnot), PC do not have this - therefore anyone worse than the console audience suffer. It artificially inflates the skill of worse players (see below): I will eventually be writing a thread discussing all the design changes that should be made (if the devs would like to read that instead).Īs for your comment - yes, there is never going to be an implementation of aim assist that is fair.Īim assist brings the skill range up, without affecting the ceiling much (so everyone is fair game). Devs, contact me, not an enormous work needs to be done, hear me out.
